Each spring, the Blue Ridge Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) honors the region’s very best public relations work with its Summit Awards. On Feb. 8, the of the ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ View magazine won a silver award in the chapter’s publications category.
³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ View is one of the College’s premier publications, telling stories about how our community is living the ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ mission. From students on each of our campuses to alumni and friends across the country, the ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ family is providing healthcare to those who need it most and doing research that promotes human health.
³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ View is one way we tell those stories.
The spring 2023 issue of the magazine features the College’s memorandum of understanding with the U.S. Southern Command, which gives ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ students the chance to put their classroom learning into meaningful practice. You’ll also read about ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ-Auburn’s dedicated and creative anatomical services department, the state-of-the-art simulation center at ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ-Carolinas, research being done at ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ-Louisiana, and Garnett Smith, whose generosity is helping ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ-Virginia students manage the cost of their educations, so they can provide care in their home communities.
The College’s Division of Communications, Marketing, Website and Publications is regularly recognized for its work on behalf of the College, having won dozens of awards over the last decade.
